Globalization is increasingly important in technical communication, requiring that technical communicators work with multilingual communities. How can technical communicators work in global contexts, specifically with multilingual communities? How does language influence all the work that technical communicators do?
In this TC Dojo session, Laura Gonzales will answer these questions and more as she introduces her forthcoming book, Designing Multilingual Experiences in Technical Communication. This book traces Laura’s collaborations with multilingual communities in three different contexts, and presents lessons for technical communicators who want to collaboratively design tools and technologies for and with multilingual audiences in global contexts.
