SUNNYVALE, CA. – November 1, 2016 – Single-Sourcing Solutions announced the launch of the TC Dojo Conclave. This mastermind was designed for technical communications consultants to perfect those soft skills necessary to advance their careers and to start their own businesses and consultancies.
“The TC Dojo Conclave was created because it’s not just technical skills we all need to develop, but the soft skills, the professional and political skills we need to advance. Technical communications folks are usually last on the list to get that kind of training,” said Fraley. “I started Single-Sourcing Solutions in 2004. Most startups fail within the first five years and I’ve been extremely lucky to have a strong support system to lean on. Not everyone has that. Over the years people have asked me to sit down with them to talk about what it takes to launch a services business. We created the TC Dojo Conclave to bring people together and give them a place of security and confidence where they can grow together. Each of us has things to learn and things to teach.”
This TC Dojo Conclave is the first community-oriented project launched by Single-Sourcing Solutions that isn’t free to attend. Membership will be offered by subscription. “In order to assure confidentiality, everyone needs some skin in the game,” Fraley said. “We’re keeping the fee low because the economics of consulting services businesses are tight. We want to facilitate professional growth, not stress our members.”
