“TC Camp has become a wildly popular event of interest to the technical communications communities world wide,” said Elizabeth Fraley, CEO, Single-Sourcing Solutions. “The name speaks to our record of success and commitment to the community as a public education resource. Launching TC Camp as an independent non-profit will allow us to take this unique technical communications event, the first unconference to serve the technical communications communities, to more regions, more professionals, in other localities.”
Elizabeth Fraley, CEO of Single-Sourcing Solutions Inc., is adamant about allowing the new non-profit to follow the direction that the community dictates. As such, she and her team will be looking for board members to take leadership positions from the group of well-known community leaders who have attended TC Camp and who have demonstrated a committment to the mission of TC Camp as originally intended.
The separation is expected to be executed by means of a tax-free spinoff of the TC Camp business resulting in two independent privately-held companies. The spinoff is expected to be completed in the third calendar quarter this year. There can be no assurance regarding the ultimate timing of the spinoff or that it will be completed.
