News: Single-Sourcing Solutions Leaves PTC Channel Program

SUNNYVALE, CA. - 10 February 2021 - Single-Sourcing Solutions announced that they will be terminating their long-time participation in the PTC software sales channel.

Effective 1 March 2021, customers who purchased Arbortext software through Single-Sourcing Solutions will be reassigned to a different partner in the PTC Channel for license renewals. Single-Sourcing Solutions will retain their Arbortext expertise and all staff members will continue in their positions.

"Leaving the channel is a blessing," said Elizabeth Fraley, CEO of Single-Sourcing Solutions. "Our expertise was never software sales. We're trainers, teachers, community-builders. I'm grateful for the experience because it gave us unprecedented insight into how PTC software sales works, what pricing structures look like, and what formulations are best for different customer situations. And that's been a boon for our customers over the years."

SIngle-Sourcing Solutions was recruited to the PTC software sales channel in 2007 to expand the visibility and capabilities of the Arbortext product suite in a channel that remains primarily focused on PTC's flagship products Creo and Windchill. Single-Sourcing Solutions brought unique expertise in the Arbortext solution, training and adoption strategies for new customers, and community development to the PTC ecosystem.

"In 2007, just two years after the acquisition, Arbortext expertise was still under represented in the PTC channel," said Fraley. "From day one, we started forming relationships with the other channel partners. We still have deep relationships with developers, product managers, support and sales staff inside PTC. Our day-to-day won't change very much."

Single-Sourcing Solutions launched the Arbortext Monster Garage, provided support to Arbortext User Groups, and created new avenues for users to access Arbortext tribal knowledge. The company expanded resources to help users become good stewards of the products they invested in.

Single-Sourcing Solutions will continue to educate the public on the Arbortext product line, advise on configurations that best fit different customer situations, and deliver unmatched Arbortext training and mentoring services.
